Alice & Bob is a quantum computing company based in Paris and Boston whose goal is to create the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer. Founded in 2020, Alice & Bob has raised €130 million in funding, hired over 150 employees and demonstrated 

experimental results surpassing those of technology giants such as Google or IBM. Advised by Nobel Prize winning researchers, Alice & Bob specializes in cat qubits, a technology developed by the company's founders and later adopted by Amazon.

The Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI carries out research for practical applications and aims to be an independent thought leader supporting society, politics and business. PQI – Portuguese Quantum Institute is an institution dedicated to developing research, innovation, policy, training, and scientific dissemination in the field of Quantum Technologies. Its scientific research activities cover quantum computing, the quantum Internet, and quantum sensors. This work is developed in the context of several European projects, and in collaboration with industry. PQI is also active in the European Quantum Technologies programme, and in training projects in this field. Furthermore, PQI coordinates the World Quantum Day initiative, celebrated globally on 14 April, as well as the World Quantum City Prize, developed in the context of the International Year of Quantum Science and Technology, 2025.

Quantum Spain aims to promote and fund a competitive and comprehensive quantum computing infrastructure in Spain. The initiative will provide the national quantum ecosystem with the tools needed to develop a solid scientific and technological framework around quantum computing and its applications in Artificial Intelligence.

The Innovation Campus QuantumBW is the quantum technology alliance in THE LÄND – Germany’s federal state of Baden-Württemberg. As a long-term framework, QuantumBW is guided by coherent, results-oriented technology roadmaps in quantum sensing, quantum computing, and quantum networks, shaping a powerful and diverse ecosystem along the entire value chain. The QuantumBW office coordinates the activities, networks the ecosystem and serves as its first point of contact. QuantumBW is jointly funded by Baden-Württemberg’s Ministry of Science, Research and Arts and the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Tourism.

The Galician Network of Quantum Technologies is a collaborative initiative that brings together the regional government, universities, research centers, and industry in Galicia to build a robust ecosystem around quantum technologies. 

Its mission is to coordinate infrastructure, promote joint R&D projects, support specialized training, and encourage the adoption of quantum technologies in strategic sectors of the Galician economy—such as health, food, energy, industry, and logistics. 

By 2030, the goal is for Galicia to become a leading region in quantum technologies, particularly in quantum computing and quantum communications. The region has already deployed the longest operational Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) network in the Iberian Peninsula, connecting Santiago and Vigo, and it hosts a 32-qubit quantum computer at CESGA (the Galician Supercomputing Center).
